Wild Med — Privacy Policy

Last updated November 1, 2026

This Privacy Policy explains what information the Wild Med app collects, how we use and share it, how long we keep it, and the choices you have. We do not sell your personal information, show ads, or track you across other companies’ apps or websites.

1. Information you can use without an account

You can read the library, use the clinical tools, write SOAP notes, and export PDFs without an account. Your settings, training level, certifications, bookmarks, recent topics, SOAP drafts, SOAP photos, and Leo chat history are stored only on your device.

2. Information we collect

Account information: your email address, the name you enter (or that Apple shares if you use Sign in with Apple), and an account identifier. If you use Sign in with Apple and choose "Hide My Email", we receive an Apple relay address instead of your email.

SOAP notes you save to your account: the note fields you enter (which may include health information about a patient), the date, and your provider name. SOAP photos are not uploaded; they stay on your device.

Bookmarks you save while signed in.

Leo questions: when you ask Leo a question (only after you give permission), we receive the question, earlier messages in that chat, your training level and certifications, and matching library text. We keep each answer for up to 3 days so it can be recovered if your connection drops, and we keep a count of questions per day for free-trial and daily limits.

Purchases: whether you bought Pro, which plan, and its dates, from Apple via RevenueCat. We never receive your payment card details.

Support: if you email us, we receive your email address and what you send.

We do not collect your location, contacts, advertising identifier, or browsing history, and we do not use analytics or advertising SDKs.

3. How we use information

To provide the app: sign-in, syncing your SOAP notes and bookmarks across your devices, answering Leo questions, enforcing free-trial and daily limits, unlocking Pro and restoring purchases, sending sign-up confirmation and password-reset emails, and responding to support requests. We do not use your information for advertising, and we do not use SOAP notes or health information for any purpose other than storing and showing them to you.

4. Who we share it with

We share information only with service providers that run parts of the app for us, under agreements that require them to protect it and use it only to provide their service:

• Supabase — hosts our database, sign-in, email, and server functions (account information, SOAP notes, bookmarks, Leo records).

• Anthropic — provides the AI model behind Leo. Receives Leo questions and related text only after you give permission. Under Anthropic’s commercial terms, it does not use this data to train its models.

• RevenueCat — manages Pro purchases and subscriptions using your account identifier and Apple purchase records.

• Apple — processes payments and, if you choose it, Sign in with Apple.

We may also disclose information if required by law or to protect the safety of any person. If Wild Med is ever transferred to a new owner, this policy will continue to apply to your information.

5. Leo and third-party AI

Leo does not send anything to the AI provider until you tap "Agree & Continue" on the Leo screen. You can withdraw permission at any time from the ⓘ button on the Leo screen ("Turn Off Leo"); Leo then stops sending questions. Do not include names or other details that identify a patient in Leo questions.

6. Health information and HIPAA

SOAP notes may contain health information. Wild Med is not a HIPAA covered entity or business associate. We protect SOAP notes as described in this policy, store them only to show them to you, and never use them for advertising or share them except with the service providers above. Providers who are subject to HIPAA are responsible for deciding whether and how to use the app for patient information.

7. How long we keep information

We keep your account information, SOAP notes, bookmarks, and question counts until you delete them or delete your account. Saved Leo answers are deleted after about 3 days. Our service providers may keep encrypted backups for a limited period before they are overwritten. Information stored only on your device stays there until you delete it, use Settings → Reset App Data, or delete the app.

8. Your choices and rights

Delete your account and the data we hold in Settings → Delete Account. Delete individual SOAP notes in SOAP → History. Withdraw permission for Leo from the ⓘ button on the Leo screen. Turn on Face ID to protect SOAP history. You can also email us to request a copy of your data, a correction, or deletion; depending on where you live (for example, California or the European Economic Area) you may have additional rights, and you may contact your local data protection authority. We will not treat you differently for exercising your rights.

9. Security

Information is encrypted in transit, and our database restricts each account to its own data. No system is perfectly secure; protect your device with a passcode and keep your password private.

10. Children

Wild Med is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from them. If you believe a child has created an account, contact us and we will delete it.

11. International users

Our service providers may process information in the United States and other countries, which may have different data protection laws than where you live.

12. Changes

We will post any changes to this policy in the app and update the date above. If a change affects how we use information you already gave us, we will ask for your permission first.
